This new crop Guatemalan coffee comes to us through the good folks at Royal Coffee, NY. Frankly, we were a little surprised by this coffee as we cupped several new arrivals from different regions within Guatemala, including several well known estates. We loved Los Volcanes sweetness and sparkling acidity combined with the rich flavors that high quality Antiguan coffees have been known for so we ran with Los Volcanes.

This micro lot coffee comes to us from Finca Cerro de Oro located in the heart of El Salvador's coffee growing region in the Apaneca-Llametec mountain range. This coffee is extremely juicy and possesses a winy acidity, punctuated by flavors of sweet kiwi, dark chocolate and stone fruit. It has a smooth, soft finish and a syrupy body.
