| CARMEN ESTATE COFFEE is a family owned business that takes great pride in being sustainable coffee growers and very high quality exporter of green coffee. In the 1950's, Efrain and Carmen Franceschi began cultivating high quality arabica coffee varieties on their estates. Today their single estate and mill is managed by their sons and grandsons and produces just 1,200 bags (60 kg each) of unique quality green coffee beans.
Award winning Carmen Estate is a Rainforest Alliance certified coffee produced in the Volcan Valley part of the Baru Volcano region of Panama at an altitude of 1750 meters (5,600ft); latitude 8°49’25’’N; longitude 82°37’55’’W, Carmen Estate resides in what is considered as the most important area in mountain and shade grown coffee plantations of The Baru Volcano region in Panama, Central America.
About the Farm:
Annual Yield: 1,200 Bags. Varietals: catuai, caturra and typica.
Harvest: December through March
Wet processed and both sun and mechanically dried on the farm.
