Torajya coffee has long been praised as a masterpiece of Arabica coffee with it's mellow aromatics and balanced flavor profile. The Toarco Torajya plantation is located at 1,500 meters in the equatorial central mountain district of Sulawesi in Indonesia, a perfect environment for growing spectacular coffees. These ideal growing conditions are complimented by a fully washed or wet-processing technique more commonly found in Central America than in Indonesia which traditionally utilizes a semi-wash process that is associated with a more earthy and foresty flavor that people associate with these coffees. Using wet processing techniques uncovers a whole array of origin characteristics that soar in the cup offering a very clean, sweet and much brighter profile than your typical Sumatran coffee. |
